Course Structure: Week 1: Introduction to Astronomy and the Solar System Week 2: Planets and Moons Week 3: Stars and Stellar Life Cycle Week 4: Galaxies and the Expanding Universe Week 5: Black Holes and Cosmic Phenomena Week 6: History of Space Exploration Week 7: Recent and Future Space Missions Week 8: Search for Extraterrestrial Life and the Future of Astronomy Each class will include a combination of readings, analysis of astronomical images and data, group discussions, and practical activities such as night sky observation using astronomy apps.
